01.
Why Wearing a Helmet is Important ?
Wearing a helmet is one of the most important safety measures you can take. In the event of an accident, a helmet can prevent serious head injuries or even save your life. The head is the most vulnerable part of the body during an impact, and a helmet provides essential protection.
02.
Scooter Safety
Scooters are a fantastic way to explore the city, get some fresh air, and have fun. However, it’s crucial to remember that safety is key. Here, we discuss the importance of wearing a helmet and provide tips on staying safe while scootering.
Additionally, scooters require no license, no registration, and no insurance. However, wearing a helmet is required, just like when riding a bicycle.
03.
Tips for Staying Safe While Scootering
- Wear a Helmet: Always wear a properly fitted helmet to protect your head in case of an accident.
- Follow Traffic Laws: Scooters are considered vehicles and must adhere to the same traffic laws as cars and bicycles. This includes stopping at stop signs and red lights, yielding to pedestrians, and following the flow of traffic.
- Stay in Designated Areas: In many cities, it is illegal to ride scooters on the sidewalk or the road. Stick to designated trails or bike lanes where available.
- Keep a Safe Distance: Always maintain a safe distance from other riders and pedestrians. This will help you avoid accidents and give you enough time to react if something unexpected happens.
- Watch for Hazards: Keep an eye out for hazards such as uneven pavement, gravel, or debris. These can cause you to lose control of the scooter and lead to an accident.

Paddle board safety:
When paddle boarding, always wear a Personal Floatation Device (PFD) and use a leash to ensure your board won’t drift away if you fall. Before heading out, check local weather and water conditions and avoid paddling alone. Be sure you know how to swim, understand basic navigation rules, and stay alert to your surroundings. Dress for the water temperature, not just the weather, and protect yourself from the sun. Stay hydrated and take energy snacks with you. If you’re a beginner, tell us and we will teach you the basics. Your safety should be your priority while paddle boarding.
